ALYOGYNE huegelii 'blue hibiscus'

Also known as “blue hibiscus’ this drought-tolerant / frost tolerant, flowering shrub grows 5’-8’ tall and wide.  Flowers are lilac-blue in color, and 4” in diameter.  Blue hibiscus shrubs will bloom continuously from mid- spring to mid- fall, and flowers last 2-3 days.  Recommended maintenance includes pinching dead flowers and spring fertilization.  Prune back in spring for a more compacts and floriferous plant.  Plant in full sun for best results.
